Job Description & Requirements

These parents will be welcoming their second child in June. Their first child is currently 18 months old. They are seeking overnight support from an experienced night nurse working with postpartum mothers and new babies in Calgary who can provide references. Someone who understands the best infant care requirements, bottle preparation/sterilization, bathing, swaddling, holding and nurturing babies. Mom would appreciate breastfeeding support as well. The family would like general baby care – feeding assistance, burping, diapering, pump set up/washing/sterilizing, settling baby, formula prep, breastmilk storage/freezing, keeping nursery tidied/stocked and documenting nightly events – eating, sleeping, etc. Laundry may also be helpful either in the beginning of the night or early morning.
