Job Description & Requirements

These first time parents are looking for an experienced French speaking nanny who has cared for newborns for a number of years, with personal or professional experience with new moms. Their ideal candidate is compassionate, empathetic and patient, who is comfortable assuming sole charge of baby while mom rests or steps out. Hoping for someone who is able to help family adapt to baby’s schedule and can be flexible with the schedule once baby’s rhythm is established. Hoping for a candidate that is comfortable bottle feeding baby, changing diapers, changing baby clothes, washing and bathing baby, putting baby to sleep. Ideally hoping for willingness to perform light household tasks related to baby such as baby laundry, bottle cleaning, pump cleaning, washing soothers, and some light dish cleaning to support mom (e.g. putting away mom’s dishes in dishwasher or washing). Family have one hypoallergenic dog.
